To recline or not to recline? It's the question that's gripping the globe's skies.
In the past few weeks, several flights have been diverted because passengers have gotten into fights over reclining seats.
For decades, it's been assumed that if you bought a seat, you have the right to recline that sucker. But clearly, travelers have been nursing grudges and complaints — grudges and complaints that have burst vividly into view.
We've reached out to numerous airlines to ask if they have explicitly policies about reclining. So far, it seems that they don't. But they can't be happy about flights being diverted. It's unlikely that the airlines will replace thousands of reclining coach seats, so should they ban reclining altogether?
That's the question. So please take our Business Insider poll. And if you have strong feelings one way or the other, please let us know in the comments.
