The big Tesla "D" event in Los Angeles is still getting started, but Chris Woodyard at USA Today has broken the news that the "D" and "something else" will be two main things:
1. An "exotic suite of driver-aid and safety features"— the something else
2. An all-wheel-drive, high-performance version of the Model S that can do 0-60 mph in just over 3 second — supercar speed — the Tesla D
